In the last decade, I've often question's why I continue to teach a system of martial arts that can be so destructive to our fellow men. I often wonder what contribution I'm making to society and if my teaching has any meaningful value.

I've surmised that the exploration and enhancement of our physical and mental abilities, would eventually lead us to a higher level of conscience. Therefore as our souls ( the essence of our being ) passes thru this time and place, we must experience physical and mental growth before we can achieve spiritual growth. Only then, can we have compassion for the world in which we live.

Arriving at this higher state, we then no longer feel the need to lift a hand to our fellow man. In the world of martial arts we practice Newton's 3rd law of physic, wherever there is action, there is reaction or cause and effect.

As a Native American, I believe this to be true in our spiritual world. If our spirituality projects nothing but compassion and positive energy, is it not true, the same will return to you? We must find peace within ourselves, so when our life fades, our souls will go the  Heavens and face The Great Spirit without shame.
